PREAMBLE

We love stories. Stories bring us together, make us feel things we’ve never felt, let us explore places we’ve never been. Stories fill the inbetweens in our lives — a rainy day or a ride on the subway.

That’s why our goal at Laterpress is to build a future where storytelling thrives. We believe the key to doing that is to put power into the hands of storytellers by giving them the independence and tools they need to tell more and better stories.

We have designed this constitution to balance between those two goals:

ARTICLE 1: General

This User Constitution is part of the Laterpress Terms of Service.

Because of that, this User Constitution represents a contract between Laterpress and our users, and claims arising out of our User Constitution are subject to the same dispute mechanisms, limitations of liability, and other applicable terms found on our general Terms of Service page.

Unlike other parts of our Terms of Service, which can be modified at any time in our sole discretion, the text in this User Constitution section can only be amended using the voting and amendment rules set forth below or if voided or superseded by law.

This User Constitution does not apply to any products or services that Laterpress may develop outside of our https://laterpress.com website, its subdomains, or any mobile apps we develop that serve the content of https://laterpress.com or its subdomains. For example, the User Constitution would not apply to a separately branded product or service hosted on a different website, even if developed by the Laterpress company.

ARTICLE 2: User Rights

The following are a series of rights we offer our users, followed by comments that provide guidance on how to interpret those rights.
